Death Quads Karaoke. Be Afraid. Fri. Sept. 21.

There will be hands clapping to ears and gnashing of teeth as the Death Quads host another Karaoke night at The Winchester. Come see Pastor air guitar, Zakk belt out ’70s schmaltz (he’s old), and Rexy put us all to shame singing Johnny Cash.

All at The Winchester. The first one was a drunken good time. This will one will be drunkener. $3 at the door and a donation jar will be available if you wish to be parted from even more of your hard-earned cash. We could use it! Daddy needs a non-profit org filing.

BOUT 8/4 We head north of the border to take on the DIRTY DOZEN

The August heat brings back the home teams for their second bout of the season. With several players making their track debut, this is sure to be a contest hotter than the pavement outside!

In their own fight to the Death (Quads, that is), the Dozen take on the men from Connecticut in an annual contest of wills and speed.

Time: Doors open at 5PM, Game Starts at 6PM. Florence Fightin’ Gals vs. Quabbin Missile Crisis and Dirty Dozen vs. Connecticut Death Quads.

Tickets: $10 at the door. Kids 12 and under $5 with paying adult. Kids 6 and under free with paying adult.

Yo. We’re fresh off the madness of Spring Roll where we went 1-2, had a great time, and knocked some dudes down.

Coming up! We’re taking on Albany’s Capital District Trauma Authority as the second bout in a double-header featuring our sisters, CTRG’s Stepford Sabotage, taking on the Hellions of Troy.

Home Bout! Waterbury! Sun. May 6! You’re Going!

Look, you can spend your evening on Sun. May 6 huffing propane out of the grill in your back yard, OR, you can watch some concussive men’s roller derby action, as your Connecticut Death Quads host the Burlington Bombers, all the way from northern Vermont. It’s our first sanctioned MRDA bout against the the Burlington team, and we’re itching knock a bro down. A 30-mnute expo girls’ bout will get things rolling. Check the vitals below, and stay off tha pipe.

Hot Rockin’ with the Death Quads

Join your Connecticut Death Quads and every goddamn person they know for a night of heavy music and heavy boozing. All door proceeds go to the DQs so bring like a few million of your friends, and then we can buy our own rink with a floor made of solid gold (or, short of that, pay for our airfare to Spring Roll, the big men’s derby tourney in May).

The What: Face-ripping rock from the likes of Shallow Ground, Progress, and Living Laser. Plus Derby Guys and the weirdos they call friends. Only $3 at the door!

Hockey Night w. the Death Quads!

What: Hockey Night with the Death Quads
When: Friday, March 16, 2012, 6:00pm until 9:00pm
Where: XL Center, Hartford, CT

The Death Quads are working with the CT Whale to raise some money for our trip out to Spring Roll in May! Come hang with us, watch a hockey game, drink some beers. We had a bitchin’ time doing this last year and we’re psyched to be teaming up with the CT Whale again.

We’ll be selling discounted tickets for the CT Whales v Bridgeport Sound Tigers game on Friday, March 16th. (These guys are the farm teams for the NY Rangers and the NY Islanders respectively.) The game’s at the XL Center in Hartford.

We’re selling $14 tickets which is a great value AND you get to hang out with us while you watch! Can you put a price on that? Well, we can. $14. Hand it over.  (We get a portion of the tickets WE sell, so please buy your tickets from a skater, not the box office.)
